Takahashi Keiten - 高橋敬典（1920–2009） - Tea kettle - Cast iron - Tortoise-Shell Relief

A cast-iron tea kettle by Takahashi Keiten (1920–2009), signed and featuring an all-over tortoise-shell relief with crane motifs, dated 1980–1990 Showa era, body diameter 21 cm, height 22 cm, mouth inner diameter 10 cm, weight 2470 g, black, in excellent condition with some interior rust, complete with its original signed wooden storage box (tomobako) and in working order. Condition: Excellent condition: barely used with minimal signs of wear.
