Meiji period Japanese chôba’dansu merchant’s document cabinet with six drawers and two pairs of sliding doors, featuring iron hardware and panels of mulberry wood with a keyaki-drawer front and sugi frame, measuring 99 cm high by 91.5 cm wide by 42 cm deep and in excellent condition with a certificate of authenticity included.
