Large-scale antique Japanese koro incense burner from the Meiji period (1868–1912), cast in patinated bronze with rich high-relief scenes of birds among blossoms, two elaborately pierced handles, a pierced lid with a bird-of-prey finial, and a tripod base on a wooden presentation base, in good condition with minor wear and a deep dark brown patina. Height: 52 cm. Width: 31 cm. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes.
