A single original Gosho’ningyô palace doll from Japan, dating to the first half of the 19th century (Late Edo), 34.5 cm high, 28.5 cm wide and 12 cm deep, made of gofun paste with brocade silk and hair, featuring a white serene face, a left‑hand sensu and a right‑hand uchide no kozuchi mallet with polychrome flowers, dressed in a black eboshi and orange silk bib and haori with cranes, displayed on a textile‑covered base and in good restored condition with minor age‑related cracks and hair loss; includes a certificate of authenticity. Material: Gofun paste, Brocade silk, Hair. Title: Gosho’ningyô 御所人形 (palace doll). Period: First half 19th century (Late Edo period). Condition: Good condition.
