Antique Japanese suzuribako writing box from the Late Edo period (1800–1850), black lacquer with a gold maki-e landscape on the lid, interior Nashiji ground with gold pine, bamboo and birds, containing the original inkstone and suzuri water-dropper, dimensions 22 × 20.5 × 4.5 cm, in good condition with signs of ageing. Width: 22 cm. Material: Gold, Wood. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of ageing.
