Exceptional and rare set of two traditional Japanese art notebooks (ori-hon) from the Meiji period, original and in excellent condition, Tomes 5 and 11 after Tani Bunchō and copied/brush-painted by Ippo, each double-page diptych pairing a classical calligraphic poem with a miniature painting, bound with silk brocade, and including four traditional Kohaze clasps.
