A six-panel byōbu folding screen from Meiji period Japan, with a luminous ground of gold dust on paper, measuring 63.5 cm high by 185 cm wide, signed and sealed on the lower left, in good condition with some wear to the lacquer frame, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
