A large Cantonese export porcelain dish from China, dating to 1879–80, shallow rounded form on a short foot, richly decorated in polychrome enamel and gilding with a central inscribed medallion surrounded by figurative scenes and floral motifs, diameter 38 cm, weight 1.5 kg, in excellent condition with a small invisible hairline on the back. Height: 3 cm. Material: Ceramic. Condition: Excellent condition: barely used with minimal signs of wear.
