Mask - Songye - Democratic Republic of the Congo

Ritual mask known as Kifwebe from the Songye people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Lomami River basin), carved in wood with natural pigments and a dark patina, dating to ca. 1900–1910, measuring 49 cm high and 25 cm wide, in good used condition. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes.
